Start in MyGiving.Online


Link your Email


  1. Click on your profile name next to the logout button
  2. Switch to the email account tab
  3. Enter the SMTP settings as required for your email provider
  4. Send a test email to cofnfirm the settings will work
  5. Save the settings


Send the authentication Email

  1. Click Admin
  2. Export
  3. “Link to MyFundAccounting.Online”
  4. Select the Charities that you want to link to a MyFundAccounting.Online account via the dropdown
  5. Select the Branches that you want to send
  6. Click “Link to MyFundAccounting.Online”
  7. Type in the email address of the MyFundAccounting user
  8. Click Send

WAIT FOR THE EMAIL

  1. Log into MyFundAccounting.Online
  2. Log into your email account
  3. Click on the link when you receive the email
  4. Map the MyGiving.Online branches to MyFundAccounting.Online branches. You can assign multiple MyGiving.Online branches to a single MyFundAccounting.Online branch
  5. Save the mappings

LINK PURPOSES

  1. Before you can import donations you must create purpose links
  2. Go to Admin
  3. Import Transactions
  4. Import donations
  5. Linked Purposes
  6. Click New Purpose
  7. Fill in the form once for every purpose you want to be able to import donations for

IMPORTING DONATIONS

  1. Now that the purposes are linked you can import donations
  2. Go to Admin
  3. Import Transactions
  4. Import Donations
  5. Import from MyGiving.Online
  6. You can set up the import to happen automatically from a specific date:

 

You cannot specify which purposes are imported when importing automatically.

  1. Import the donations manually with greater control over what is imported:
  2. You can generate a report when doing it manually to see what donations are coming through before deciding to transfer them
